Casa Malibo is a modern, comfortable home centrally located in San Pedro del Pinatar, close enough to the coast that mornings can start with a swim and evenings can end watching flamingos settle over the salt lakes.

A short boat ride reaches La Manga, three golf courses sit nearby, and three real bedrooms give everyone their own space.

Mar Menor

The Mar Menor is Europe's largest saltwater lagoon, separated from the Mediterranean by a 22-kilometer sandbar called La Manga. The water is shallow and warm, often several degrees warmer than the open sea, which makes it a good spot for families and anyone learning to sail, kitesurf, or paddleboard.

The lagoon is known for its mud baths at places like Barros de Lodo, where mineral-rich mud is said to have therapeutic properties. Along the shore you'll find beach bars, seafood restaurants, and small towns like Los Alcázares, San Pedro del Pinatar, and Santiago de la Ribera, each with their own promenade and local character.

Quiet, family-friendly, calm shallow water. Less crowded than the main strips, with shops and restaurants a short walk away.

he closest and best pick for swimming in the Mar Menor. Shallow, calm water, good for kids, promenade lined with bars and restaurants.

Muds Bath Mar Menor

Not a swimming beach but worth flagging separately: free natural mud baths right on the lagoon, a short walk from Playa la Puntica.
